ABOUT THE PROJECT

Argerich is a partial renovation project located in the Villa del Parque neighborhood of Buenos Aires. With a focus on nature, we envisioned the space as a nest—an encompassing structure designed to shelter, contain, and protect.

The interplay between the selected materials and natural light was the driving force behind the project. Our aim was to create an atmosphere where one could immerse themselves and truly enjoy the space. Given Susana’s habits and her deep love for cooking, we envisioned a wooden environment that would envelop its occupants. The warmth of the space is a direct result of choosing the right materials.

Natural oak wood features prominently throughout, from subtle moldings on storage furniture and button-shaped handles reminiscent of past decades to ribbed paneling that imparts a sense of movement.

Subtle references to the 1970s are reflected in the shapes and selection of furnishings, achieving a harmonious balance between natural and sophisticated, rustic and contemporary, fresh and cozy.
